About She Tames Tech

The first thing I ever fixed was an umbrella.

When I was a kid, my favorite umbrella snapped in half. When I told my uncle I planned to fix it, he laughed and said it was broken for good. But, you already know I proved him wrong. I wrapped the metal supports in duct tape, and it worked, so well that I used that umbrella until I outgrew it.

That was the first thing I remember fixing and as it turns out, that instinct never left me.

To this day curiosity is my natural state.

I love figuring things out—from uncovering why a landing page isn’t converting to the mechanics of a broken hedge trimmer. I inherited a love of exploration, learning, and hands-on problem-solving from my dad and grandfather, and I’m constantly digging in, reading between the lines, and reverse-engineering what works (and what doesn’t).

I’m not trying to be the expert in everything—I just know how to spot patterns, follow the data, and build smarter solutions.

I bring that mindset to every project: curious, clear-headed, and focused on what works. And I love helping bridge the gap between what your visitors want and what your business needs them to do.

So I’ve spent over a decade fixing websites.

Since 2011, I’ve worked in web marketing and digital strategy designing experiences that move the needle. From user research to A/B testing headlines and content blocks, I’ve built and tweaked websites that quietly convert, without needing a full redesign every time performance dips. I focus on strategy, user experience, and growth so your site doesn’t just look good; it works beautifully.

I hold a Master’s in Growth Design (a strategic blend of user experience, experimentation, and data), a MicroMasters in Design Thinking, and a certification in Google Analytics. I’ve even given a web conference talk and appeared on a podcast to share how web experimentation can turn subjective feedback into confident decisions.

I help plug the leaks in your website’s performance.

You’ve done the work to drive traffic—through ads, SEO, email, social, and more—but if your site isn’t built to meet visitors where they are, all that effort starts to slip through the cracks. Whether it’s a confusing layout, unclear messaging, or a page that doesn’t build trust fast enough, even small issues can quietly derail the results you’re aiming for. I help you find those weak spots and turn them into conversion points, so your website pulls its weight.

That’s why I started She Tames Tech: to help small businesses turn the site they have into the high-performing one they need.

Some clients have been through multiple redesigns, some want to avoid another one, and others just want to keep improving.

Clients partner with me because I know how to make a website perform. I deeply understand how people get to and move through websites—what they expect, what throws them off, and what builds trust. I use that to help small businesses create digital experiences that actually work.
